Honeycomb Protocol has acquired GameShift from Solana Labs, combining two complementary tech stacks to push Web3 gaming into the patron mainstream. Deal phrases stay confidential.

On the developer aspect, Honeycomb provides a modular toolkit of onchain sport primitives — participant profiles, character and useful resource techniques, mission frameworks and staking — delivered through easy-to-integrate SDKs.
On the patron aspect, GameShift brings a consumer-ready layer: abstracted gasless wallets, fiat funds, embedded marketplaces and seamless onboarding designed to cover blockchain friction for non-crypto natives.
